Sweet Orange Oil is by far one of the best smells out there represented by essential oils. It is fresh, fruity and is reminding of a holiday warm atmosphere. It is really a great oil to use in almost anything. I really enjoy using it in formulations as a great light antioxidant and for aromatherapy. The Sweet Orange Oil is much less allergenic and sometimes I personally use it as is in form of a perfume because of this beautiful top notes. But note! This is not a recommendation to use any of essential oils as is on the skin to anyone. The sweet orange is generally not toxic, but any essential oil can be irritating to the skin and cause allergic reaction. It should not be used by pregnant women. A recommended delusion would be at about 50:50 ratios.
To delude this essential oil can try to experiment with some of the lighter and less fragrant oils. Almond oil or grape seed oils are great to be used as a perfume oil base. To have a beautiful fruity perfume of your own can use the carrier oils base and add to it a blend of essential oils. Citrus essential oils are great as top notes and mix well with floral, spicy and woody smells as base and notes. Can mix up with Lemon, Ylang Ylang for a lovely sensuous sweet perfume. For those who love spicy can experiment with cinnamon or ginger…mmmm…yummy spicy smell, or try floral lavender or Neroli for a more intense smell. The Sweet Orange is one of the best ones to play with for one who would like to have his own perfume project. Well not only perfume. This oil or essential oil blend with Sweet Orange base can be used wonderfully for the massage oils and be a beautiful addition for romantic, relaxing and rejuvenating.
But now besides the absolutely delicious smell what other benefits can we get from this wonderful oil.
